What do you do when there’s a snow storm during your annual Christmas party? The show must go on!
All of our guests couldn’t make it – we got about five inches of snow the day of our Christmas party and we live in town! Our guests were all in the country or in neighboring towns. I spent so much time decorating the house and the tree! And what’s a mom to do with all this food?!
I improvised….I invited over the neighbors!
It was a great opportunity for us to get to know them better, share in good food, and show off my decorating skills! Every ornament (including the lights!) on our tree came from #AtHomeStores! They have entire sections of the store for a certain “themed Christmas.” I fell in love with the Lavish & Luxe collections – you can check out all they have available on their app, or visiting the link above. They just recently put in an At Home store about 30 minutes away, and I’m officially obsessed. The decor is ridiculously cheap – like many of the decorations are under $5. I got many of them for $1.99!
Here are some pictures for your enjoyment – and if you’re wondering…yes, that’s paint on our table. I’ve got three kids, and our dining room table doubles as a craft table;) The white flecks on the table are actually crushed candy cane that the kids thought would add a festive touch – they helped decorate everything!
