Before I give you the ten abundance affirmations, I want to show you what happened after originally writing this article years ago.
ONE WEEK after making this post, I was notified that I won a TRIP FOR TWO to NYC thanks to Dannon (the yogurt company!). You can see what we did on our trip to NYC.

Within a month of writing this post, I had this update:
At BlogHer16, I won a laptop, 2 backpacks full of school supplies, a printer, $50 Staples gift card, $500 custom toy package for the kids, annnnd took 2nd place in The Pitch competition.

I consider myself highly intuitive. Incredibly lucky. I win things all the time. Multiple things at a time. I am blessed with so many incredible opportunities…
Years ago I won four gift baskets at a fundraising event (there were only 6 winners, and I got 4 of them!).
I play this little Casey’s game (it’s a midwestern gas station) where you can win real prizes by playing the ‘pizza game’. Just yesterday I cashed in six prizes…and I do this literally every single week. The cashier always says, “Man! YOU ARE SO LUCKY!”

I am not a gambler but had to be in Vegas for an event. I waited until just before the flight home to play any slots- AT THE AIRPORT. I had time to kill and figured…why not? I pushed the button ONCE and won over $400 and cashed out. The security lady came over and said “That NEVER happens. YOU ARE SO LUCKY!”
The following year I was in Vegas again for an event and went to the hotel’s casino with a few friends. I watched them play Black Jack (I grew up playing with family, but am not a fan of playing for money) and then tried my hand at the slots. I pushed the button twice and on my second push, I won over $300, which essentially paid for my trip. I cashed out and walked away.
In Monaco, I played the slot machines and won lots of money just minutes before cashing out.
These are just a few of the ways I’ve mastered the power of the abundance mindset. This works for other things, like manifesting a windfall, winning trips, etc.
Traveling is can be pretty expensive—it’s the main reason that most people don’t do it more often. However, what if there was a way that you could actually get paid to travel? If you’re a natural-born adventurer, this probably sounds like a dream.
Of course, there are some tried and true methods already out there. For some people, a personal loan application online can help them find the funds they need to get abroad and start working that job they’ve already secured, while for some, all-inclusive work residencies can be a great way to see the world while also helping out. In some careers, like air hosting or the variety of roles to be found on a cruise ship, travel is one of the most amazing perks to be had.
Before I get into the affirmations needed for an abundance mindset, know that opportunities will come to you faster if you actually apply for them. Sure, it’s nice when things fall in our lap…but you’ll never land on the NYT bestseller list if you don’t write that book. Similarly, you’ll never travel to Kenya and ride in a hot air balloon ride if you don’t book your flight.
So, what’s my secret to abundance? These 10 abundance affirmations:
Repeat these affirmations throughout your day, every single day. What you think about, you manifest. Think of them like prayers – that’s how I treat them. More importantly, though, be thankful and grateful for what you do have. I thank God every day for all of my blessings. Always look for the silver lining.
- Abundance flows into my life with ease and grace
- Money flows to me from multiple sources
- I can afford anything I want in life
- It is okay for me to have everything I want
- I can be both rich and spiritual
- I am wealthy and prosperous in all areas of my life
- I release all resistance to wealth and now allow it to flow freely in my life
- As I give, I receive
- I am worthy of abundance
- Money simply falls into my lap
